Following the distribution of help at the Olilit Saumlaki Market in the Tanimbar Islands on Friday, 2 September 2022, President Joko Widodo made a press announcement.

KOMPAS.com/JAKARTA - The price of three types of fuel oil (BBM), namely pertalite, diesel, and pertamax, will increase as of this coming Saturday, March 9, 2022.

According to President Joko Widodo, one of the causes of this surge was the fact that a portion of the fuel subsidies were really used by the wealthy.
